FAQ
An audit is where we, as a CPA firm, evaluate whether your company’s financial statements give an accurate picture of its financial position, and whether these financial statements are prepared in compliance with Hong Kong’s financial reporting frameworks.
Dormant companies are exempt from requiring audited financial statements under Section 447 of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance. In order to qualify for exemption, the company must pass a special resolution declaring its dormant status and have it filed with the Companies Registry within 15 days of declaration.
We calculate audit fees based on the number of transactions, complexity, size, and risks of the business. Talk to us to get a more accurate quotation.
The time it takes to complete an audit will differ from company to company, but a simple SME with minimal transactions can be audited in as little as 3-4 weeks time.
Contact us with a brief description of your company and let’s see how we can help you with your tax and audit situation!
